Do you provide flights with your activities and packages?

No, unfortunately we cannot book flights for you. However we can recommend you with a list of cheap air carries where to find the best deal to flight to Bratislava.

Do you organise airport transfers from Bratislava? How does it work?

Yes, the airport transfers from and to Bratislava it’s included in every packages you book with FiestaWeekends. Even if you don’t book a package, the airport transfer it can still be booked as a single activity from our “Bratislava airport transfer” section.

Basically, our minibus will be waiting for you at the airport and once you arrive it will take you and your group straight to your Hotel safely and without waiting a minute. The transfer service is highly recommended, especially for groups of friends, as it is definitely cheaper and faster than jump in several different taxis that try to take advantage of new tourists.

Do you organise airport transfers from Vienna to Bratislava as well?

Yes. Vienna is only 45mins away from Bratislava, which allows us to organise comfortable minibus airport transfers from Vienna to Bratislava and from Bratislava to Vienna.

What happen if some members of the group fly at different time to Bratislava or Vienna?

We usually provide only 1 return airport transfer per group. However, if one or few members of the group fly at different times, additional airport transfers can be organised with an extra small fee or if you prefer we can simply advice you the best way to get to your hotel.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

How do I book my Stag Weekend?

It’s really simple:

1 - Firstly, browse through our website and add single activities, accommodations or choose one of our already made weekend packages, that you like the most, to the shopping cart.

Once you have finished shopping, check the cart again, register and proceed with the reservation request.

2 - After we have received your reservation details we will ensure that all activities and accommodation from you selected are available for the weekend you will be here. Once we have done that we will send you a confirmation e-mail.

3 - All you have to do at this stage is to log in again into our website, go into your reservation detail and proceed with the payment of the DEPOSIT (only 10% of the total amount) to confirm the reservation for your entire Bratislava Stag Weekends (the rest of the balance will be cleared at your arrival in Bratislava).

The payment is totally secure as it’s managed completely by one of the biggest bank in Slovakia: Tatra Banka.

However, if you feel more comfortable, don’t hesitate to give us a call and we can help you with your booking process. If you don’t wont to spend money in your mobile fill up a call me back form and we will call you back in less than 24 hours. What type of credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

How do I know it’s safe to pay on-line?

We use one of the biggest bank in all Slovakia called: Tatra Banka (check their website here) and all card payments are being processed in their portal by their secure server for maximum protection. We don’t come in contact at all with your card details.

How much deposit do I have to pay?

10%  of the total amount.

That’s the only deposit that you have to pay in order to reserve your entire Stag do in Bratislava (you can pay the rest of the balance at your arrival in Bratislava either by cash or by credit card).

Can I cancel after have paid the deposit?

You have the rights to cancel any activities, accommodations or packages that you have booked, any time prior than two week to your arrival, with the rights to get the full deposit back. However, if you decide to cancel with less than 2 weeks of notice prior your arrival, we can only reimburse you 55% of your deposit as we got the right to keep the other 45% of your deposit to pay cancellation fees to our suppliers. We are the only company that refund 55% of the deposit for cancellation at the last minute, usually other companies they don’t refund any deposit for short notice cancellations.

Can I add more people after the booking?

Yes, we are totally flexible and prepared in terms of amendments and changes. Therefore, you can add or delete group members or adjust date of some activities any time before your arrival without any kind of extra charges.

Can I book and pay over the phone?

Yes. You can give us a call and we can process, in a secure way, your card details over the phone. For telephone numbers go to the contact us page. Or fill the call me back form  

HOTELS

Will the hotel be the same of what we have booked?

Yes. As soon you have chosen and booked your Hotel, Hostel or apartment we will make sure to book it straight away to don’t disappoint you. However, in particular demanding period of the year might be possible that the accommodation you have selected it’s not available. In that particular case we will contact you straight away and we will offer you different solutions. In the case you don’t like any of them you can still cancel the accommodation without problems.

What is the normal rooming with package holidays?

Normally we accommodate 2 or 3 persons per room. However if you have a particular request, such as single room or multiple room, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will do our best to satisfy your request.

Will I have to pay a bond to the hotel on arrival?

Absolutely no. In your booking deposit is included the bond for the Hotel. So once you arrive you won’t have to worry about nothing.

MONEY AND COSTS

What about local currency and the best way to get it?

The actual currency in Bratislava is the Slovak Korun which will be used until the 1^st of January 2009, when the Euro will be adopted as the official currency. Read more about Slovak money here.

The best way to get local Korun is to withdrawn money from the many cash machines available in town, which will actually give you the best exchange rate. However, if you don’t want to use ATM’s you can simply bring some of your local currency with you and once you are in Bratislava we will help you to exchange your money safely and conveniently.

What’s the average budget for a weekend?

This question it can’t be answered straight as the budget is entirely up to the lifestyle that you want to do there. However, bear in mind that Bratislava is one of the cheapest European capitol with prices more than 50% cheaper that Western Europe.

For e.g. a pint of beer is around 70p, cocktails approx. £1.50 and a full meal at the restaurant it cost more or less £5. Night Clubs entrance approx. £2, while Strip Clubs entrance can range from £ 4 to £8. Taxi it should cost more than £ 4 for a journey of 10 minutes.

Can I just book single activities or accommodation with you instead of a whole package?

Yes, absolutely. Feel completely free to book single activities only, accommodation only or both of them if you wish to. Even if you decided to book one of our special packages, you can still add more single activities to the shopping cart if you feel like it. Our website has been entirely designed to provide you with an enjoyable and easy navigation, with the possibility to customise your holiday as much as you want and without any kind of obligations.

Every activity has the return transportation included?

Yes, every activity that you book with us, has the transportation from and to your Hotel included, a part for those which are based on the City Centre and therefore don’t require the transportation.

Can I chose the time and date of the activity?

Yes, you can decide your own schedule for each single activity. In case the time you have chosen it’s not possible, we will inform the closest possible time before you pay for the activity.

Can activities and packages be organised during the mid-week? 
Yes, you can book activities and packages for any time of the week.

Can you send me a brochure?
Unfortunately, we don’t send out brochures. We believe that this website contains all the necessary information and even more that a brochure could do, without waste any paper.

NIGHTLIFE

How do I find out which are the best clubs and bars in Town?

Usually, on your first activity, such as the airport transfer or for example pub crawl on the first night, you will get in touch with one of our expert guides which will be more than happy to advice you on the best spots of Bratislava. Even if you haven’t got nothing booked on the first night feel free to keep in touch we us for some useful advices.

Is there any particular dress code for clubs?

Not really. In general, clubs and bars in Bratislava are really flexible in term of dress code. However some of them they may have some problem with trainers or football shirts.

OTHERS

Do I need a Visa?

If you are an EU citizen, you do not need any visa, as the Slovak Republic is part of the EU. All you need is a valid passport or ID card for minimum 6 months before it expires. However, if you are a citizen of any other countries outside the EU borders, check with the local Slovak Embassy, or contact us and we will advice on the requirements needed. Do you only cater for British groups?

No. We do organise activities, accommodation and packages for groups all over the world.

If we are not a Stag or Hen group?

No problem. Our activities, accommodation and Hotels are suitable even to normal group of friends that what to have fun in Bratislava, as well as birthday parties or other event. Every activity has a minimum n° of person, and as long you meet that n° you can book as many as you want.
